Frank Bess
Cemetery Operations Manager
Frank is the Cemetery Operations Manager at Mount Olivet. He has been with the company for over five years. He was employed directly after a seven years tour in the United States Navy. Frank is a native Nashvillian and the go to person regarding the history of Mount Olivet.

Gerry Blouin
Extended Services Counselor
Gerry grew up in the Phoenix area, earned a Bachelor’s in Human Communication at Arizona State and his MBA. He and his wife, Deborah, are actively involved at Church of the Good Shepherd in Brentwood where Gerry has been the Praise Band drummer for six years, and Deborah serves as an Acolyte and Verger. They reside in Franklin and enjoy music, movies, comedy, college and professional sports.

Receptionist
I am a lifetime resident of Franklin, TN and love the history of Mt. Olivet. I realized a lifetime goal of attending Belmont University in Nashville, TN at age 50. I have three beautiful sons who have made my life a joy and an exciting adventure and have given me three beautiful grandchildren. My passion and hobbies are gardening, nature in any form, knitting, crocheting and reading.

Brenda Hatcher
Sales Counselor
Brenda is the Family Services Counselor at Mount Olivet Funeral Home and Cemetery. Owning a florist for 11 years, serving people at joyous times with weddings and new babies, she found there was also a need for compassion for those who lost a loved one. Brenda loves serving families at this difficult time in their lives.

Funeral Home Manager
John H. Smith II is a resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee where he resides with his wife and three daughters. He attended John A. Gupton Mortuary College in Nashville, TN., and graduated in 2000. John is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He recently graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University whereby he received a B.A.
degree in Management and Human Resources.

Todd Yates
Funeral Director and Embalmer
Todd is a Nashville native, a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and has worked in the funeral industry for 25 years, with several of those years being in funeral home management. He grew up in East Tennessee, graduated from Sullivan South High School in Kingsport, and East Mississippi Junior College in Scooba, MS.

Jasmine Zervas
Funeral Assistant
Jasmine Zervas graduated from John A. Gupton in 2011, and earned her Associates degree in Funeral Service. Jasmine and her husband, Jimmy and son, Damien, are active members of Lebanon First Assembly of God in Lebanon, and reside in Alexandria. Jasmine is a professional singer and has been singing onstage for over 15 years. She considers it an honor to be working with the team at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
